Alan Wake the retail game had a conclusive ending that finished off the 1st Season perfectly.
The 2 DLC episodes simply added to this finale, without spoiling it for anyone, if you enjoyed Alan Wake the you will really enjoy The Writer and it sets it up perfectly for the 2nd series. In my opinion of course.

I said in a MoH article yesterday that, "Meh is meh" and got attacked left right and centre, I still stand by it. Not that the review score is meh, just the game overall is, yesterdays review was an 8.5 and today ive seen quite a few 6's, 7's, 8's and one or two 9's.
To all those who hate COD (im not its biggest fan but I dont hate it) and think that Acti are bribing sites to lower the score of MoH, get a grip people, this isnt N. Korea!

Not at all. I wouldnt have cared if MoH got a 6 or a perfect 10. The game is just not for me, tried the beta and Id rather play Reach just now and then catch up with Bulletstorm and KZ3 early next year.
By all means get excited about another FPS, set, wait for it . . . . . . . . . . . in modern times. This just isnt for me, review scores are irrelevant.

EDIT: To those reporting the article its about as relevant as all the articles that get approved regarding some game selling out on Play.com or that the Wii/PS3/360 is selling well at Amazon.

With all of the so called 'casual' games that will be appearing on MOVE and Kinect, I wonder if the reviewers will judge them from the perspective of the 'casual gamers' point of view rather than us 'core gamers'?
These titles, whilst they might be fun to play are not targeted at the people who visit gaming websites like us.
